The Gyalos waterfront consists of a total length of 622 meters. Of these, 90 meters with a usable depth of -7.00 meters primarily accommodate Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) and passenger ferries, as well as large day-cruise ships. The remaining waterfronts are used by smaller tourist vessels, yachts, recreational boats, and fishing vessels.

Panormitis Bay, Symi

In Panormitis Bay, Symi, there is a bridge-like pier shaped in a "C" design (with two-side docking), with a total length of 70 meters, a width of 6.00 meters, and a usable depth of -5.00 meters. The effective length of the quay is 120 meters, with depths ranging from 2.00 to -4.00 meters.

This port serves smaller passenger ferries operating on local routes, day cruise ships, yachts, sailing boats, and other vessels visiting the bay with the famous Monastery of Panormitis.

Pedi Bay, Symi

At Pedi Bay, there is a pier measuring 63 meters in length, 5.00 meters in width, and a usable depth of -5.00 meters. This pier is mainly used by commercial ships and military vessels. On the northwest side of the coastal road, there is a 49-meter quay with a functional depth of 0.40 meters, primarily designated for the docking of smaller boats.
